therapy

I believe in the transformative power of counselling, somatic and trauma therapy. This process involves a significant commitment of time and effort from both the therapist and the client, and provides the opportunity for connection and healing, that allows us to access the deepest sources of our pain, fears, hopes and dreams.

Matrescence Coaching, Infant & Parental Wellbeing

I am passionate about supporting pregnant and postpartum parents and those wanting to be parents in their transition to parenthood. Not only do I support parents to connect with their intuition, self compassion and self-belief, but I also help them make the most of this powerful, healing and transformative time, for them, their babies and their family as a whole. My approach is compassionate, non-judgemental and curious, aiming to empower mothers/parents to get their needs met so that they can be the best parents they can be.

Professional Supervision

including specialist supervision for practitioners working with rainbow, takatāpui and Māori/indigenous/people of colour.

I offer supervision for mental health practitioners and those seeking professional development for work with Rainbow/Takatāpui communities (trans and gender diverse, sexually diverse, diverse relationships) adolescents, neurodiverse (ADHD & Autism), trauma (including SA), and those who have other experiences of diversity and oppression. I am passionate about supporting new parents and families.

I bring a rich background of lived experience, research and ongoing professional and personal development to my work as a supervisor.

Yoga Therapy

My yoga teaching is informed by a deep respect for the origins of yoga as a healing modality for tinana (physical), hinengaro (mental) and wairua (spiritual) wellbeing. My teachings include Atmavikasa Centre of Yogic Sciences, India, Bikram yoga, Trauma-informed yoga therapy (trauma institute), Yoga Therapy (Dr Ganesh Mohan) and much more. I draw on my knowledge of trauma therapy and rongoa (Māori intuitive healing) in my work and my deep relationship of reflection, presence and connection with my own tinana.
